What does CBD oil do?

CBD oil contains the cannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD). CBD, as well as other cannabinoids, interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS is a complex network of cannabinoid receptors that may regulate a list of bodily functions, such as sleep, metabolism, responding to stress, and more.

Will CBD oil help me sleep?

CBD has been shown to support better sleep, especially among those who may deal with things like stress, anxiety, or bodily discomfort that would otherwise keep them awake. This may be partially due to the fact that CBD promotes a sense of calm by affecting the nervous system.

Individual results with CBD can vary. Many people have found CBD to be helpful for everything from sleep to pain, and there are ample studies showing the efficacy of the cannabinoid on various ailments.

Is CBD psychoactive?

CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid; it does not cause intoxication. While the cannabinoid may have some psychological effects, such as soothing stress or helping you mentally relax, CBD does not leave you inebriated.

Are there negative side effects of CBD?

CBD is known to be well-tolerated with few risks of side effects. You may experience drowsiness or gastrointestinal issues like nausea at high doses, but when taken responsibly, this will be rare. CBD may also negatively interact with certain medications, so discuss plans to take CBD with your doctor.

CBD products for sale are legally allowed to contain up to 0.3 percent THC. This fractional amount is not enough to cause intoxicating effects.

Will CBD show up on a drug test?

Therefore, there is a potential that taking some CBD products could lead to a failed drug test. For this reason, it is best to plan accordingly if you are expecting a drug test.
